i love this. these are my parakeets, or, were. the yellow one has since died, where it sat in my freezer for a LONG time while waiting to be buried, but thats another story. i had them sit on this rung of a chair while i doodled them and they were so pissy with each other, i loved it. the blue one has her face tilted away from the other like she often does, the poor thing tends to get bullied by other birds. and the yellow one has its body slightly leaning towards the other, heckling her. i liked that i was able to capture their body languages, it was so much fun to do! ahem, however, note my lazily done background....no detail, it came out crappy. but thats okay, i really am too lazy to put the effort into a background. maybe some day i will, and we'll see how that turns out.
